The Farewell Ceremony for SIGI Students of Class 2018 Was Held Successfully

On May 31st, 2019, the School of International Governance Innovation held a farewell ceremony for students who were going to further their study in the University of Maryland this June. Several school leaders, all professors and students of SIGI attended the ceremony.

The leaders and professors of GDUFS, including Party Secretary Sui Guangjun, vice principal He Chuantian, Professor Hu Wentao, the dean of Graduate School and so on, congratulated the students of Class 2019, and urged them to have a sense of responsibility as Chinese citizens. At the same time, the school leaders and professors expressed their high expectations on students of Class 2019, hoping that they will always be grateful, become the pillars of China as soon as possible and serve the motherland.

At the ceremony, the students of Class 2019 recalled their growth and harvest of the past two years in SIGI by reciting “Looking Back to the Way Coming Here”, expressed their gratitude to GDUFS, SIGI and teachers, and showed their confidence and determination to fight on the international arena.

Finally, the Secretary Sui Guangjun issued certificates and presented bookmarks to these 24 outstanding students, and encouraged them to continue their efforts and work hard. The farewell ceremony was successfully concluded in the group photo.
